The Artist

I am a representational artist specialising in Still life, Figure and Portraits.

My aim is for the image of an object to capture it’s essence in form and situation.  

I started learning anatomy first as a radiographer and am now in the process of learning artistic anatomy by a process of comparison of form and function with the works of the great masters. My studies of the human form are a combination of observation, construction and invention.
